Nicole's Weight Watchers Site
"Mostly food..."
IN MY CUPBOARD
  • SPLENDA!! (I buy a big box of packets at Sam's Club).

  • Baked Ruffles Cheddar & Sour Cream potato chips. One ounce is 2 points
    and they're SOOOOOOO GOOD!!

  • Wonder Light Wheat Bread.

  • Oat Bran. I have it in the mornings with blueberries and skim milk. One
serving is 2 points (based on the box nutrition information) and it really
    sticks to your ribs.

  • Kellogg's Wheat Bran Flakes.

  • Shredded wheat.

  • WW One Point Cakes (available at Walmart SuperCenters). The lemon
ones are my favorite. They taste like Zingers.

  • Trader Joe's Cappuccino Meringues.

  • Herbal teas. I especially like Celestial Seasonings and Choice Organic
    Teas.

  • Craisins (dried cranberries--absolutely awesome on salads and in
    oatmeal!).

  • If you have Thomas's English muffins in your area, check out the light
wheat version. One point and absolutely delicious. The WW ones are even
better (I think) because they're BIGGER!

  • 94% Fat Free Orville Redenbacher microwave popcorn. I buy the mini bags
with 100 calories each (2 Points). Sprinkle some cinnamon and Splenda
on the popcorn for a tasty treat. I usually spritz it with butter spray to help
the cinnamon and Splenda stick better.

  • Baked Tostitos. One ounce is 2 points, and they taste positively decadent
with salsa. Great to eat while watching football games. (Go Bucks! Go
    Steelers!)

  • WW Bagels. They're really good--don't taste "diet" at all. Plus, they have
NINE grams of fiber and NINE grams of protein! Only 2 points!

  • Swiss Miss Fat Free Hot Chocolate with 2T of Cool Whip Free. Num-num!
Only one point and it counts as a milk!

  • Fox Point Seasoning from Penzey's Spices. I  cook some broccoli with a
little bit of corn, then spray with butter spray and sprinkle on the Fox
Point. It is SOOOO good! I'm lucky to have a Penzey's right by my Weight
Watchers site, but if you're not similarly blessed, you might want to order
online. I also like their Apple Pie Spice (for oatmeal or coffee), Sandwich
    Sprinkle, and Pizza Seasoning.

IN MY REFRIGERATOR (AND FREEZER)
  • A Pur water filter.

  • Edy's Grand Light Slow Churned ice cream (also called Dryer's depending
    on where you live).

  • Promise Heart Healthy Light Spread.

  • I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray.

  • Frozen blueberries (I have a cup every morning on my cereal). Just run
them under hot water to thaw.

  • Land O' Lakes Fat Free Half & Half.

  • Fat Free Cool Whip.

  • Skim milk.

  • Diet Snapple Peach Iced Tea.

  • Feta cheese (a little goes a long way!).

  • Parmesan cheese.

  • Cooked, frozen shrimp (just run under cold water and add to pasta or
rice). I get mine in a bag from Trader Joe's.

  • Boca All-American Grill burgers.

  • Boca Crumbles.

  • Red peppers, onions, and mushrooms.  I fry them up in a pan with
appropriate seasonings. I use it on angel hair pasta (with seasonings and
parmesan), Boca Burgers (with feta cheese), and inside the yummy La
Tortilla Factory tortilla. They're also great inside omelets.

  • Strawberries (SO low in points--sprinkle a little Splenda on them).

  • La Tortilla Factory tortillas The small whole wheat ones have 50 calories,
loads of fiber and loads of protein. They're billed as low carb, so I almost
didn't buy them. Fortunately I did because they're fantastic!! If you only
have one, it's NO POINTS. Three are only 2.5 points.

  • Jalapeno Munchees.  The company, Health is Wealth, has a whole line of
products. The Jalapeno Munchees are their version of the Jalapeno
Popper. Five of them are 3 points. They're absolutely fantastic.

  • WW English Toffee Crunch ice cream bars. They're a little small for two
points, but boy are they GOOD!

  • My beloved blueberry smoothie: 1 cup of skim milk, 1 cup frozen
blueberries, 5 packets of Splenda, 1 tsp. vanilla. Whip in a blender and
enjoy. Three points and it tastes like a milkshake.

  • Homemade iced tea with real lemons and lots of Splenda. I use decaf tea
bags so I can have as much as I want without guilt.

  • KoolAid with Splenda. I've gotten tired waiting for this to appear in stores,
so I just buy the unsweetened KoolAid and add my own Splenda.

  • WW Cookies & Cream ice cream bars. TWO points and really delicious!

  • Jello Sugar Free (Splenda sweetened) pudding cups. These are in the
refrigerated section of your grocery store. Only one point for a cup!

  • 97% Fat Free Eggo Waffles. I have one with about a tablespoon of Mrs.
Butterworth's Sugar Free Syrup (sweetened with my favorite--SPLENDA!).
A really tasty, gooey snack for one point.

  • Fat Free Total Greek Yogurt. I mix it with juice packed pineapple or
blueberries then sprinkle in some Splenda. Reallly good treat. You can get
Total at Whole Foods, Giant Eagle and Trader Joe's.

  • Limes. I learned this from my mother-in-law: squeeze the juice of a lime
into some cold water. Add Splenda and stir. You'll have to adjust both the
lime and the Splenda to your taste, but I use four packets of Splenda and
the juice of half a lime per two cups of water. You won't BELIEVE it's no
    Points!

  • Kraft Fat Free Shredded Cheddar Cheese. I use 1/3 of it on my omelets
and it is SOOOO good! Only 1 point and it provides lots of protein and
    calcium.

  • Skinny Cow Ice Cream bars. I like the vanilla (2 points) and the cookies &
    cream (3 points).

  • Stonyfield Farm All Natural Nonfat Yogurt. It TASTES like yogurt! The fruit
is on the bottom! I just love it (2points).

  • Healthy Choice Mocha Swirl Bars, 2 points each.

  • I only have this twice a week or so, and regard it as a treat (because we
should TRY to limit our soda consumption), but I adore Diet Sprite Zero. It
tastes so crisp; I just love it!

IN MY LIFE
  • An MP3 player (to listen to when I'm walking).

  • Really good kitchen equipment so I can enjoy preparing healthy meals. I
love All-Clad pots & pans. I use the regular stainless steel ones for
everything but eggs and I can't believe how easy they clean up. I bought
myself a set as a reward for losing 100 pounds and I'm still grateful I did.
I also love those silicon spatulas.

  • Odd size measuring cups (they have things like 2/3 cups and 3/4 cups).

  • A digital food scale.

  • Other magazines: Cooking Light (which gives you access to the online
recipe database), Self, Shape, Nutrition Action (from the Center for
Science in the Public Interest), and  Fitness. Just having them in your life
will help you focus on doing what's right for you.

  • My treadmill, in the basement, in front of a TV with DVR so I can entertain
    myself. Hey, whatever works, right?

  • SIGG water bottles. You know how water sometimes taste really nasty
when you drink it from a plastic bottle? Yeah, that doesn't happen with
these! Plus, they're gorgeous AND they're good for the environment!
